TAG Motorcycle

Motorcycles under 250 cc, excluding maxi scooters, count as Eco motorcycles. The system accepts motorcycles from model year 2011 onwards, over 50 cc, equipped to carry a passenger and without commercial branding, ridden by drivers aged 18 or over. An A-class driving licence is required for every engine size.

Drivers must carry a helmet for their passenger too.

A suggested amount is set from what people who have travelled in that area before agreed on, for the vehicle type and distance chosen. The passenger can raise or lower the suggested amount. If a driver accepts the offer the passenger freely makes, the match is made. The driver cannot ask the passenger for any other fee.

Tolls charged to the vehicle during the trip for the Bosphorus bridges, motorways, the Eurasia Tunnel and the Osmangazi Bridge are added to the fare automatically. The Northern Marmara Motorway is not included.

It is currently available in 30 cities: İstanbul, İzmir, Ankara, Adana, Antalya, Aydın, Balıkesir, Bursa, Çanakkale, Denizli, Edirne, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Konya, Manisa, Mersin, Muğla, Sakarya, Samsun, Sivas, Şanlıurfa, Tekirdağ, Trabzon, Van and Yalova.
